Welcome to E M M Photography. Based in Southampton, I work alongside ambitious businesses across the South of England to create impactful, high-calibre image banks that elevate brands, attract clients, and boost commercial confidence.
From the darkroom to digital storytelling
My love for photography began during childhood alongside my father. He had his own darkroom where he spent hours developing 35mm black-and-white film and producing slides, which I still treasure today. Around 12 years ago, I bought my first Nikon DSLR and launched straight into shooting events. That deep-rooted fascination evolved into a passionate mission: helping growing businesses transform how the world sees them through thoughtful, bespoke visual assets.
High impact: sports, aviation, and brand
My journey into commercial visual branding was shaped by fast-paced environments. I spent eight years ringside photographing boxing events, eventually collaborating with professional promoter Steve Bendall. Later, I achieved media accreditation with the RAF Media Event manager to capture the Royal International Air Tattoo. Mentored specifically in brand photography, I combine high-energy precision and strategic storytelling to deliver imagery that drives engagement and sales.

If you feel camera-shy or nervous, you are not alone. My approach is entirely collaborative and relaxed. Before picking up the camera, we start with a getting-to-know-you questionnaire and a discovery call to uncover what makes your brand unique. On set, I keep the atmosphere light, fun, and engaging, guiding you comfortably so you look natural, empowered, and ready to stand out in your market.
